Paddington BID funds its own dedicated Police and Police Community Support Officers. This team was set up to assist local businesses and works in partnership with the Metropolitan Police. This presence will deter crime, reduce the fear of crime and increase visitors and tourists to the area.

The Community Safety Team work on a rota system which incorporates nightshifts.

A Pubwatch scheme was established to support local publicans and help deal with any community safety issues. This group meets quarterly. If you are a publican and would like to join please call Phil Rowe at the Pride of Paddington on 020 7402 2156.

Future projects include the introduction of CCTV, working closely with Westminster CCTV Trust and Westminster City Council.

PCSO Andrew CampbellWestminster City Council has introduced a new ‘Anti-Social Behaviour Hotline’ which allows you to report incidents, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week call 020 7641 3000. Anti-social behaviour is any conduct that is 'likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress’.
Please note: This is not an emergency service. If you feel under immediate threat you should call the police.
