Paddington BID aims to upgrade the visual appearance of the area and create a cleaner and greener environment.

Projects comprise additional hanging baskets throughout the area, greening schemes, anti graffiti treatments, graffiti removal and prevention and improvements to gardens and railings in Talbot Square and Sussex Gardens.

2007 sees the launch of Paddington BID's b_green scheme to raise environmental awareness amongst businesses in Paddington.

A dedicated Planning & Design guide for businesses has been produced jointly by the BID and Westminster City Council in order to assist local shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels with all development issues.

The BID also assists businesses by providing a stronger voice on issues of common concern. Businesses have already formed joint responses and positions on the extension of the congestion charge and the proposed Crossrail scheme.
Paddington BID has appointed agents to assist businesses with business rate valuations and rent reviews.

AnitgraffitiWestminster City Council's Environment Action Line offers a 24-hour 7 days a week service. Call 020 7641 2000 for assistance with litter, dumped waste, recycling, graffiti, dog fouling, noise, abandoned cars, and building site nuisance.
